Trusted Current Review aims to make electricity and energy easier to understand without overstating what a short explanation can establish. We distinguish general explanations from instructions, identify uncertainty where it matters, and welcome readers' help in correcting errors.

Accuracy and clarity

We check factual claims against appropriate, reliable material before publication and prefer explanations that readers can follow. We define technical language when it is needed, avoid presenting an example as a universal rule, and revise wording when it could leave a misleading impression. Articles explain general concepts; they are not a substitute for a qualified professional, product documentation or safety guidance.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for readers, not to favour a product, service or partner. A commercial relationship does not guarantee coverage or a positive description. Where an outside interest is relevant to a piece, we make that relationship clear to readers.

Corrections

If you spot a factual error or an unclear passage, use the Contact page and identify the article and the point at issue. We review correction requests and amend published material when warranted. Where a significant change affects the meaning of an article, we make the correction clear in the text rather than quietly leaving readers with an inaccurate account.

Partner material and illustrations

Any sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from editorial work. Partner placement does not make a page an editorial endorsement. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when that is the case, the illustration is identified accordingly. Illustrations are not presented as evidence of real equipment, events or test results.
